A leading metal fabrication business located in the East midlands that produces light and medium metal fabrications for the UK and worldwide.

About the Role

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment. This role involves working with precision sheet metal components, carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication to meet engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG and MIG welding on sheet metal components
• Fabricate parts using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Work with thin gauge metals to produce precision components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
• Finish, fettle, and grind your own work to a high standard
• Ensure all work meets quality and production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

About You

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
• Strong knowledge of TIG, MIG, and/or ARC welding processes
• Experience working with sheet metal, particularly thin gauge
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Familiar with workshop tools and fabrication equipment
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
